lb_lee: a kludge of the wheelchair disability sign and the transgender symbol, adorned with the words Trans Gender Cyborg (cyborg)
Due to multiple requests, we have completely unlocked the Disabled Cyborgs stories. These range from T4T sensate sex toy price wars to cute borg animals who find individuality after being a hive-mind, written from 2012-2017, and I wouldn't mind writing any of them again.

We hope you enjoy!

Hello, folks! We are doing will and estate planning stuff (we are young and in good health, but it's never too early to plan) and while most of our stuff will be comparatively easy to shove at thrift stores, none of our helpers are in a good position to figure out what to do with our original artwork, sketchbooks, edit proofs, and rough drafts of our work. These are exactly the kind of objects that are probably of intense interest to SOMEONE, but certainly not everyone. So, we're putting them up for grabs here on Dreamwidth!

please be greedy! Y'all are the most likely to want such things. )

This blog has been locked and steep access cuts made. I will be manually going through unlocking things, mostly multi stuff and essays. For now, fiction will stay locked. Reverend Alpert's "The Unbinding", which won the poll this month, is posted publicly on Patreon. For now, there will be no writing polls, and few public posts, if any. For now, I'm paywalling most everything on Patreon and will be mass-uploading my writing there. For those of you not on Patreon, you can either buy the books/ebooks as they come out, or you can request local copies or access to my writing filter here. Patreon patrons will experience very little change. I will still make my usual posts there, still make comics, zines, and books. It's public stuff I'm cutting down on.

Why I'm doing this. )

Making this because I just want to have all my events in one place, in a list I can update more easily than through healthymultiplicity.com.  And for folks who're interested in keeping up with our work.

Thomas's Adventures in Treehouse
What was Thomas up to before Raige and M.D. showed up?

Through the World-Hole: Strong-Legs first meets Thomas when he's confused, bedraggled, and stranded in another world.
A Clean Citizen is a Good Citizen: Thomas discovers that the concept of a private bathroom is not a universal one. Sketch
A Mountain of Afterfood: Thomas’s Treehouse neighbors discuss his people’s mysterious pooping habits.
Carrying the Dead: Thomas is new to Treehouse, and he plans to spend Dia de los Muertos alone and miserably homesick. The citizens of Treehouse decide not to let this happen. Illustration
The Ride Home: Still adjusting to Treehouse, Thomas deals with a labor dispute and some weird relationship dynamics that he doesn't underand with his co-worker, Strong-Legs. Illustration.
Savaged by Garbage: Thomas gets a job cleaning out a home violating Treehouse sanitation norms, and realizes the situation is way worse than he realized.
Thomas's First Spring: Thomas has been in Treehouse for almost a year, and everyone's getting gussied up for spring. But formalwear means different things to different people... Illustration
Defenders of Treehouse: With Strong-Legs, Thomas decides to face his fears regarding the infamous carnivorous trees of Treehouse.

AUs, Asides, and Other Snippets
This is for all the Infinity Smashed stories which aren't involved in the main plotline. Some of them are AUs, some of them focus on minor characters, and some of them just take place so far outside the time period in the main plot that I felt they might be distracting.

Raige Expressions: Random drawings of Raige's face. Art
City Girl: Frances Bertelli loves her city, and it loves her back. A love letter to Vaygo, through the point of view of Biff's not-landlady.
The Strength of Chains: Number One likes weapons.
6 Times Raige Fell For M.D. What it says on the tin. (Sprawls ALL across the timeline of Book One.) sketch
Unstable Housing: M.D. has had a colorful, erratic history of housing over the years, but nothing that's safe, functional, and reliable. What is 'home' for her, and how does she find it when she's not even sure what it means? Bonus sketch!
Infinity Smashed Death Machine: (AU) Done in respect to the Machine of Death anthology. What if the main cast of Infinity Smashed lived in a world where they could find out how they were going to die?
Personal Space Invaders: M.D. meets her big sister Inanna... and she has platform heels and a big sword. For the "5 Cliche Challenge" prompt of 'Mary Sue.' (AU)
That Time The Zombies Invaded: Texas is a terrible place to stage a zombie apocalypse. For the "5 Cliche Challenge" prompt of 'zombie apocalypse.' Sketch (AU)
Wholesome Recreation: Thomas gives M.D. grief about her and Biff's preferred methods of recreation. (AU)
Struck (AU) An experiment in ubersquickery. Biff/M.D., which is really all you need to know.
The Gold Rings: Grey's job is the most important thing in the world to her. (AU)
Life Choices II: Biff and M.D. talk about self-harm and suicide.  As long as they give each other shit about it and act like they don't care, that makes it okay, right? (This one is locked, because it's very old and I dunno that it's even canon.  If you want access, ask for it.)
Not Built to Last: M.D. plans the end of her life.

Giant Robots 'Verse
A fanfiction crossover between Infinity Smashed and Pacific Rim, where M.D. and Biff drive giant robots and punch giant monsters for the good of the world. M.D.'s health has failed and she relies on medication and crutches to get around; Biff is arguably more healthy than he is in the straight IS universe. You can read more extended notes about this setting here, and get the spoiler-free Pacific Rim crash course here.

Everlasting Summer: The world is ending, and the Pons System gets put on the fast track to development. Corners get cut, and M.D. gets... stuck. Warning: this is a body horror story involving medical abuse.
Feet On The Ground: M.D. and Biff were convenient guinea pigs to fine-tune the early Drift mechanism. They weren't expected to ever see action, never mind survive it... Sketch
The Dark of Winter: Before the PIN can catch up to them, Biff and M.D. dash to Jaeger Academy, in Alaska. In January. M.D.'s health doesn't take it well.
The Pharmacopoeic Rainbow: M.D. goes off her meds.
Sturm und Drang: The PPDC sees M.D. as either a mascot or an embarrassment. She fights both.
On a Dirt-Bike Made For Two: It's spring at the Jaeger Academy, and M.D. and Biff are desperate to get outside. Too bad April on Kodiak Island is also known as ‘ice rink season.'
Cigarette Break: Summer has come to the Jaeger Academy, and Biff and M.D. share a cigarette on the roof. They also meet Mako Mori.
Virus Factory: M.D. and Biff are pilots now, but they have no Jaeger. Then everyone catches the flu but still has to deal with a creeping, tentacled menace from the deep.
Someone To Blame: M.D. and Biff inherit a Jaeger, and then a position.
The Flesh Is Weak: When M.D.'s plugged into a Jaeger, she's joyous.
Drown: The apocalypse hits, and no matter what happens, Biff and M.D.'s giant robot is going to be left at the bottom of the ocean. M.D. just assumes she'll go down with it, but Biff isn't going for it.

Wow, this post has become a true monster. But here it is, all the writing. If you want the fanwork folks have made me, that's here.  Basically, my schtick is queer slice-of-life speculative fiction and essays about weird multi brainstuff. If you want to buy stuff, check out my shop page.

This post got mostly locked down in 2021 and we are still working on what'll get unlocked where. If you want access to the locked stuff, ask us.

The apocalypse has come and gone, leaving behind the remnants of humanity and a lot of supernatural entities.  Reverend Alpert earns his bread and butter dealing with them.  A loner by nature, his life is simple and regulated, but then he picks up a companion and things get complicated.  You can learn more about the story set-up here!

The Gestaltist of Blood: Alpert gets caught by some enterprising bandits.

Alpert's Son: To train her for their upcoming work in the Scattered Cities, Alpert introduces Perfection to his son, Zachary. LOCKED
The Terror-Eater: Alpert and Perfection encounter a carnivorous shape-shifter who embodies its audience's worst fears, which leads to a very uncomfortable conversation. LOCKED

Perfection's Birthday: It was one year ago that Perfection met Alpert, and she wants something very special... LOCKED

The Cursed City: Decades after the events of La Curandera, a grown-up Prudencia cleans a city. LOCKED

A Cat's Eye View: Chavela's love affair, as observed by her cat.
How Does Your Garden Grow?: Maria now has a new garden resident, but how do you care for a giant predatory tree-thing?  On top of that, it tries to eat Chavela's cat.
Trick or Tree'd: Maria and Chavela gear up for the inevitable difficulties that comes from having a lot of candy, small children, and a predatory treebeast in the same yard.
The Uneatable Plant: Chavela's spirit boyfriend has gone missing, so Blacksockswhite goes to investigate!

Disabled Cyborgs )The Corporate War has ended, leaving a regiment of unemployed veteran cyborgs in need of money and maintenance.  With their human patcher, Gwyneth, they try and keep themselves going in a world where they were designed to make money, not last.

Limited Warranty: "The love that lets you patch someone up with whatever tools are necessary and then send them back to their lives."
Social Networking: The Corporate War is over, but now Gwyneth and her cyborg regiment need new jobs, and quickly. And in Megacorp, it's all about who you know...
Planned Obsolescence: Cyborg Mike05 starts having health problems that his patron doesn't want to deal with.
System Maintenance: After the war, Mem08 has a cardinal rule: never ignore a distress signal.  Even if it may not be real.
Portia, the Mechanical Girl: Despite everyone's attempts to convince her otherwise, Portia is positive she's a robot.
Hayada, the White-Gloved General: Toshi Hayada was a mediocre pianist but a brilliant soldier. And then he got blown up.

Durable Medical Equipment: Levi Ibrahim is a blind cyborg working in prosthetics with sensorimotor capability (with a trade-off in the visual appeal department).  Brand Olajuwon's path crosses with his, and they try to make their way in the gritty underbelly of the same world as the other Disabled Cyborgs stories above, though a different side of it.

The Bionic Prosthetist: Levi Ibrahim makes prosthetics that feel real. Brand Olajuwon is interested, but not as a customer. Sketch!
Style Over Substance: Levi Ibrahim and Brand Olajuwon have been involved for a while, but both are keeping secrets, and now they have a job to do.

Cute stories about borgified animals are also here, because who doesn't love adorable cyborg animals?

The Borg Critters: the commissioned art pieces that inspired it all!
Esprit de Corps: Dead Zone Corps #000111 are a Borg unit in charge of exploring and investigating areas with only sporadic wireless access. Cut off from the Hive-Mother's constant protocol signals, the unthinkable happens: one of them becomes individual. What to do? And how to identify something that can't be understood?
The Best Messenger: Now that the cute little cybrog critters of Special Corps Unit #000111 are individuals, they must relay instructions through sound, only to discover that weather and individual interpretation can cause problems…
Dead Man's Switch: Rat is the leader of the cyborg animals, but it is now painfully aware that it is prey. It finds an ingenious way of dealing with that anxiety.
