lb_lee: M.D. making a shocked, confused face (serious thought)
Oh god it is a hundred pages. What have I done. What is time. What is space.

Here you go you weird people, as y'all voted, LB's Many-Selved Sourcedump 2.0. Now with a table of contents and organized by both creator name AND (roughly chronologically). 3.0 I can also organize it by topic but NOT TODAYYYYYYY I am going to bed

EDIT: version 2.1 is up. The very first link in it was dead. -_- Please replace your file. Also added a source I'd forgotten and added a "Wayback Machine URL protocol" bit to help compensate for other linkrot that surely exists.

lb_lee: a penguin saying "Just because you decide to sell out doesn't mean anyone's going to buy!" ($ellingout)
Sorry for the delay; Arisia ate us and we plumb forgot! But the Madgic omnibus (in paperback form) is up for sale for $25!

Everyone knows crazy people have symptoms, not spirituality, so when LB Lee's brain started vomiting up mythopoetic nightmares, they presumed it a breakdown and bunkered down to wait it out.

It didn't work, and after four years, Mori said, "Fine! I'll handle it!"

Herein, find one loony's stagger-dance through the thorny wilds of the otherordinary, including:

* The squishy nature of magic, religion, and belief
* Divine parasitism
* Murdering the god in your head for mental health purposes!
* Boning ghosts, a personification of death, and otherordinary beings
* Building a path with the most undignified materials imaginable

216 pages, color cover with black and white interior; mix of text, illustration, and comics, 5.5" x 8.5". Collects Madgic #1-4, with some new edits and additions!

The Madgic omnibus ebook is UP FOR SALE! (The paper book is at the printshop and will be out January at latest.) $15!
Details and final front cover image behind the cut! )
Furthermore, as the winner of the fan poll this month, Rawlin's Story has been uploaded! (Text-only version here.) 37 page sketch comic of Rawlin describing her own evolution and that of her relationship with Mori. References past abuse and coming back from it.

This weekend was intense. But the listing for the paper version of Madgic #4 is up. $8 like the others.

Now to collapse and do nothing of importance for a bit.

EDIT: okay, I lied. Because there will likely be things needing taken care of, I decided to lurch ahead and upload the winners of this month's poll. And it was actually easier to just upload the ebook I made of EOZ for the Fitchburg Fandom Fest than it was to cut/paste and reformat it here.

So, with no further ado:

Embry, Olly, and Ziggy: my abortion story (by Rogan): This illustrated zine contains explicit violence, rape, incest, miscarriage, abortion and arguments thereof, teen pregnancy, disownment, hanging, a suicide attempt, and also consensual queer teenage sex. Reader discretion is advised. 16 pages. 2024. Alt-text built-in.

Boy Meats Girl: A zine about an abusive relationship, told overwhelmingly through collaged documents of the time: love letters, poetry, creative writing, photos, art, doctor's notes, etc. (The sole exceptions are written notes on the collaged pages, the Accord of 2004 strip, and the pages concerning the final confrontation.) As part of the process of making this zine, the originals were burned to create the final few pages. 32 pages, full color. Content Warnings: rape, vomit, strangulation, body horror, mental illness (specifically, PTSD and DID), headmate complicity in abuse, and endless whining. Script here.

Will update healthymultiplicity.com more properly later.

Here is the ebook! (Paper book listing has to wait until after the Anarchist Book Fair. Buy it there first!) $4 like all the rest!

Many a multi has an inner mythos, a Story that fuels them in a way that’s hard to explain. These stories can have a life of their own, and yet they’re rarely discussed, certainly not in the context of religion. But how different is fiction from religion, really? What makes something a work of entertainment, vs. an article of faith?

In this final installment, LB Lee take on mythos and story, including:

  • Building and becoming your mythos, using the most shittastic materials available!
  • Jailbreaking reality, dreamhacking, and story symbiosis!
  • Story animism!
  • Why we hate the Hero’s Journey!
  • INFOGRAPHICS!

52 pages, black and white. Alt-text included in file!

It was a very close vote, this poll, but Alter Boys In Love won by a hair, which means the whole thing has now been uploaded! (And the script has remained up.)

Enjoy, friends!

The next chunk of Alter Boys In Love, GIDID, has been uploaded! This was a zine follow-up to FTMPD (I clearly didn't learn my lesson about naming things after esoteric portmanteau-ed acronyms), made in 2016, when Biff and I were newly together.

As before, the text-only script version for the whole book is here.

EDIT: I also said to hell with it and reorganized our healthymultiplicity.com comics page to be in reverse-chronological order per CREATION date, rather than UPLOAD date, because I was sick of having old stuff like Edward Cullen Adventures up top.

EDIT 2: I really with healthymultiplicity.com's file manager wouldn't log me out constantly, including when I'm in the middle of uploading a file.

lb_lee: a black and white animated gif of a pro wrestler flailing his arms above the words STILL THE BEST (VICTORY)
I also, at [personal profile] nevanna's request, uploaded Edward Cullen Adventures. Long overdue, seeing how often I mention Edward Cullen and have to explain him to people who aren't aware of a silly decade-old in-joke.

Haven't completely finished debugging healthymultiplicity.com, but whatever, the main pages are done, and we updated and bug-swept the index page because we had accidentally killed all of Vicki(s) links by search/replacing http-->https. Added five new resources from DragonHeart Collective and Hungry Ghosts!

lb_lee: Mac and Rogan canoodling with a little heart above their heads. (love)
Apparently healthymultiplicity.com's webhost doesn't allow the uploading of .cbz, only .zip, so fine, whatever, as it is decreed. The next chunk of Alter Boys In Love has been uploaded! These strips range from 2012 to 2014, covering daily life between Mac and Rogan culled from the Homeless Year and Inaction Comics, which IIRC is out of print.

As before, the text-only script version for the whole book is here.

In other news, I got my favorite pair of jeans mended by someone at the vintage backyard sale. She did such a great job. My jeans feel so strengthened, so strong. I'm so happy.

The Transphobe Blues was the winner of the comics poll this month! I uploaded it in .zip form because my PDFizer is malfunctioning and as of tomorrow I'll be mostly offline for three weeks. Sorry guys, you'll have to go it old-school this month.

This chapter was originally made in 2014 for a Wild Zero fanzine that never ended up happening. I cleaned it up for Alter Boys in Love, where it found new life. (Wild Zero is in my top two favorites movies. It's the best zombie/UFO/rock'n'roll/transgender romance to ever come out of Japan.)

In case you're the kind of person who likes comparing old vs. new drafts of a thing, since I already had the 2014 PDF ready, I uploaded it too.

lb_lee: Rogan drawing/writing in a spiral. (art)
Due to certain life circumstances, I have chosen to put the comics poll winner, Alter Boys in Love's "Leap of Faith," into a quick and dirty PDF for everyone to enjoy.

You may download the PDF here. The text-only script version is here. You may notice that the script version is for ALL of Alter Boys In Love. That's because I had it on hand already, and you know what, screen-reader users and blind people always get the short end of the stick. Today, THEY get the extra bonus content, mwahaha! (I apologize that it is a .doc. My web host just... doesn't allow me to upload EPUB files for some reason? And I don't have the time to figure out what that's about at this time.)

Later, I will update healthymultiplicity.com for easier finding there but that is a problem for future LB. Present LB is busy.

lb_lee: A pink sketchy heart (heart)
Yes! I needed a week to recuperate, but Coming In Or Staying Out is UP FOR SALE! Both the ebook version and paper book version are $5, because the ebook comes in hot pink and purple, rather than the black and white of the paper book.

Mori: FINALLY! It's DONE! Madgic #3 is available as an ebook for $4 or a paper zine for $8! (I plan to get a print run this coming Tuesday.)

Mori: Ugh, what a NIGHTMARE. Just so y'all know, guys, having emoticons with their own color scheme tends to cause export problems; download Noto Emoji (NOT Noto Color Emoji, those will have trouble) and use the font-color ("black and white") emoji to avoid this issue. I also hope that LibreOffice's alt-text function FINALLY WORKS this time, otherwise I'm going to be out hours of work.

Anyway! We have a new free-if-you-want, pay-if-you-want zine up: the Loony-Brain Primer! This will likely be an ebook-only release because printing a 64-page color zine is very expensive.

Mori: Surprise! I have a new zine out!

Rogan’s Aphasia by Mori of LB Lee. Cover Image: Rogan gestures and speaks, but instead of words, his speech bubble contains a mammoth labyrinth, with a tiny dark figure of himself at the center.

When Rogan, LB's main fronter, found himself unable to speak, write, or sign more than a few words at a time, it could've been a disaster. Instead, his headmate Mori stepped in (and made a zine about it, with his OK). Herein:

* What is aphasia?
* Why might Rogan have had it?
* How we worked around it, plural-style!

16 pages, black and white, 8.5"x5.5". Ebook is $3, paper is $5 plus shipping.

lb_lee: A colored pencil drawing of Raige's freckled hand holding a hot pink paperback entitled the Princess and Her Monster (book)
Mori: Protection is on sale! $1, ebook only at this time, but the ebook includes a print PDF if you want to make your own.

Seriously, Rust's A Guide to Anatomy & Physiology Lab is so useful, even though it is old and clearly made from photos with typewriter labels glued on. I've gone through a lot of anatomy books in my time, and this is the only one that has shown bones from more than one angle, and actually SHOWN photographs of stereotypical male vs. female pelvises, rather than just describing the female verbally. It's also the only place I've seen a photograph of a fetal skull, which is on Protection's front cover.
lb_lee: A skeleton wearing a crown of blooming roses (the bony lady)
Mori: I did it! I completed the new zine in time for Dyke March!

Possessions is a pluralish story about incompetently haunting your owner/killer in the style of a yerbamala collective (and also my earlier, similar story, Too F'ed to Live, Too Punk to Die). I will be debuting the title at Dyke March. 52 pages, ~800 words, all text except the cover images which are posted here. Content warnings are in the comments and contain spoilers.

The ebook listing is live for $3, and the paper listing is $5, +$2 shipping for the USA. Patreon folks will get it next month.
lb_lee: Mori making a ridiculous face. (mori)
Mori: Oops, shit, I learned about the yerbamala collective and accidentally made a free plural zine about dying incompetently, haunting your friend incompetently, and trying to fix the mess you made. CW for allusions to suicide and copious swearing.

Die mad, resurrect in spite, live madder.

56 pages, 8.5 x 5.5 inches, black and white! Available on paper for $8, or as an ebook for $4!
Image behind cut )Everyone knows that crazy people have symptoms, not spirituality. So, what happens when you can't ignore it anymore and have to make up religion as you go? Join LB Lee on their stagger-dance through sanity and spirituality: * Dealing with madness and mortality with more of the same! *Otherordinary entities that won't leave you alone! * Murdering the god in your head for mental health purposes! *Many, many illustrations of skeletons!

NOTE for paper buyers: due to a print error, one page of this zine had to be manually corrected. The zine is still perfectly readable and fine, but folks who buy from the imperfect initial print run will get their book signed and adorned with a sticker of their choice as compensation. (Sticker options include: emoticons, travel, winter stuff, or Kink Pride stickers.) If you want a sticker, please make sure to say so, either in the comments here or in the Etsy order notes section!)
