Mori: Or we would've, if we could figure out why the damn transgender emoji won't export to PDF. It shows up fine in the .odt, but for some reason it just becomes a big white space in the PDF.

Ugh, whatever. Problem for tomorrow LB.

It's a 64 page intro to us, our work, our history, our headspace, and our mythos, with lots of art and such from the past twenty years. It was fun.

@hungryghosts told me of David Yeung's existence years ago, but I only yesterday realized I could just RSS his blog. He's a DID therapist, but he has a lot of good, sensible advice for multis from all over the place.

For instance, his post How Do You Identify Your Alters? He's the first I've seen to take an attitude of open gentleness in this task, and it seems like it would be a big help to folks who are dealing with roster uncertainty or anonymous headmates. Give it a shot!

I know I just posted about Yeung, but I just found his Christianity and Forgiveness posts (here's the second) and now I'm linking it to my intro zine because it's that important and relevant: the idea of predators who twist and abuse forgiveness to perpetrate more violence. Although he discusses it in a DID frame of reference, I can think of singlet readers on this blog who would find them equally useful for their own situations!

I wish I had found Yeung's posts about that ages ago! I am going to be linking the shit out of this because it comes up so often!

lb_lee: Rogan drawing/writing in a spiral. (art)
Mori: Ugh, what a NIGHTMARE. Just so y'all know, guys, having emoticons with their own color scheme tends to cause export problems; download Noto Emoji (NOT Noto Color Emoji, those will have trouble) and use the font-color ("black and white") emoji to avoid this issue. I also hope that LibreOffice's alt-text function FINALLY WORKS this time, otherwise I'm going to be out hours of work.

Anyway! We have a new free-if-you-want, pay-if-you-want zine up: the Loony-Brain Primer! This will likely be an ebook-only release because printing a 64-page color zine is very expensive.
