A new home for Dude and Skeeter (and us)!

Thanks to everyone who took part in the cat fostering! The day before I moved, I got to run by and finally meet Dude and Skeeter, the fluffballs who have occupied so much of my mental real estate.

We ourself are now living with two cats who are NOT Dude and Skeeter. Their names are Tiptoe and Tuddles. Tiptoe is shockingly cuddly and friendly, while Tuddles has already drooled all over our bed after knocking it over onto himself. (No pics available at this time.)
Many thanks go to all the people who helped us move! It went very smoothly and quickly:
gingicat's car fit way more than I expected so we got everything in three carloads, and she,
sorcyress,
thishouse and partner, and past-roomies loaned their arms, while
minoanmiss made enough wraps to feed a small army (which was good, since the folks needing feeding were not only the moving party but my new, exhausted, overwhelmed roommates while the kitchen was made of boxes.) Seriously, blessings on all the cooks who feed the hungry laborers. Nobody gets far on an empty stomach, and Mori got to try out tongue for the first time! (It was delicious. Reminded us of brisket.)
We are so grateful for our headmates Miranda and Biff because holy crap this may have been the smoothest, easiest move we've ever had. They truly are the best team-up for this task. Biff had our room unpacked by nightfall of moving day, he spent yesterday making the kitchen usable (though it's still full of boxes), and we are stiff and sore but triumphant. We also may never have to move our cussed computer monitor again because we just realized we could use our Cintiq for that purpose, and it's way easier to pack and move. (And now our new workstation doesn't have the window blocked by a monitor! We can just lay the Cintiq down flat and look at the greenery!)
The common spaces are still getting unboxed, but our room, bathroom, and kitchen are well enough. We are home!
