This spring break, eight children come to the House of Children. And terrible things are going to happen to them.

Eight days. Eight chapters. Eight children come in, but how many get out?

Liz: overworked, overstressed overachiever in charge. Needs a vacation.

Talia: unlucky new kid in town. Just wants everyone to like her.

Sajar: nonbinary death witch. Wants to overthrow the kyriarchy.

Mortimer Mountjoy V: his family owns the town. Wants [SPOILER].

Tim: tiny genius. Wants to graduate college before 18. Kind of a shit.

Ann: very sick wheelchair user. Wants a friend who's not her service dog.

Sparkle: very good dog. Wants pets, treats, and Frisbee.

He's basically one of those kids who is WAY too smart for his own good who thinks that niceness is for people with nothing better to offer. Kinda an aspiring Jerk Genius, though there's only so impressive he can be since he's a tiny thirteen-year-old who can be squished with a rolled-up newspaper. He's the youngest and smallest of the kids.

So he's not so much the bully as the kid getting shoved into lockers who's ranting, "YOU'LL SEE! IN TWENTY YEARS I'LL BE A NOBEL WINNER WITH A POOL AND THREE HOUSES AND YOU'LL BE FLIPPING BURGERS IN A GAS STATION YOU PLEBES!"
