lb_leeThe New Gallifrey group have posted about the disciplinary proceedings of the Gallifreyan Tradition Society in response to Panopticon setting Draven on me. Thank god they did, since most of this is Gallifreyan crap that I don't understand; read it for yourself and see what I mean. But a few things, I DO understand, and I have a few things to add.
Apparently Panopticon have been relieved of their title as Chancellor for six weeks. They have to write an essay about why what they did was wrong. (All I can imagine is the Simpsons opening with Bart writing, "I will not set cult leaders on people" a hundred times on the blackboard.) However, they still get to stay a Councilor, and President Isa, the gal in charge, won't even publicly admit what they fucking did. They just describe it as "actions unbecoming of a Patrician and a Council member," which for all I know means littering or voting Republican or something.
All Isa says is in the Discord, "To those who have been affected by Patrician Cassandra's actions, I have been remiss in my duties as Healer-President. I allowed my personal feelings to interfere in the execution of my duties and did not act on those concerns when I should have done so earlier. I sincerely regret not acting sooner and apologize to those who may have been harmed or otherwise made to feel unsafe or unwelcome in these channels. I also wish to apologize to my council," and so on and so forth. Not once do they mention me, what Cass of Panopticon did, or that it was wrong. It is also placed on a platform where I am unlikely to ever see it. It certainly wasn't SENT to me!
I guarantee y'all, ain't NOBODY apologized to me. On the contrary, Panopticon created a new account to evade my blocking of them to tell me how they would NOT apologize to me! (They just go on about how bad they feel, but frankly, their feelings don't mean jack fucking shit; their ACTIONS are what matter.) Your bullshit essay means absolutely nothing, Gallifreyan Tradition, because Panopticon have made it overwhelmingly clear that they are not sorry. Making them write an essay is just making Bart Simpson write on the blackboard, and even if you made them apologize to me, it wouldn't matter, because it'd be painfully obvious they're just doing it to get their stupid Chancellor-hood back. It's not a real apology unless the person ACTUALLY MEANS IT, and DOESN'T DO IT AGAIN.
Also, it says the Council was involved in this whole disciplinary hearing. Does that include Healer-Advisor Raven? Because you know, they were involved in it when Panopticon were bragging about their Prydonian revenge, so pardon me if I'm dubious. I'm revoking their bit of anonymity for the screencaps to prove their witnessing it.
Let's be real, y'all. Gallifreyan Tradition are ONLY doing this because I went public, kicked up a huge fuss, and refused to quietly let this behavior slide, thereby making them look bad. But I am not special. I am positive I'm not the only person who this has happened to; I'm just the loudest and most inconvenient right now. Panopticon are only losing their Chancellorhood for six weeks, which is apparently NOT de rigueur when OTHER people pull stunts like this, according to that New Gallifrey post.
Isa says "there will be no retribution or consequences for those who bring issues or concerns to our attention." Well, I'm bringing this to their attention. I brought issues and concerns to Panopticon, and they responded by setting Draven on me, a violent convicted felon (you can just search the case numbers: #07-2-01511-8, #07-2-02044-8, #07-2-02169-0, #07-1-00112-1) who is known for threatening to stab people he lives with, and who just so happens to live not that far away from me. This is not a case of mere hurting my feelings via Internet; I consider this an active threat to my physical safety, and just because I lucked out and Draven seems scared of me doesn't mean that's how it could've gone. I know others who haven't been NEARLY so lucky, and Panopticon thought this was appropriate revenge, and you've slapped them on the wrist. Isa sent me this big long PM all about how I didn't know the true story after all this unfolded, and Panopticon is her roommate. Does she seriously expect me to believe that she somehow didn't know about any of this? Really?
Also, if you want to prove you're not just a spin machine, let me go public about all the harassment campaigns I know about, including the ones Panopticon tried to get me to take part in and the one Isa took part in, and all of you, LET ME DO IT. If you truly want to clean up your group and stop having this creepy awful reputation, you guys have to accept that you have this reputation for a very valid reason, and do the hard work of changing, not exact "Prydonian revenge" on me. No PMs from GT folks to tell me how wrong I am, no creating new accounts to avoid my blocks, no setting violent felons on me, no vagueposts about how I've never faced cult abuse (not true, by the way, I haven't been a FOLLOWER, but I've been harassed, recruited, groomed, and perved on), NOTHING.
