Fishing for Lulz

Rogan: Dyke March was a blast, but I want to share an amusing failed trolling(?) that occurred there.
There were a couple guys who approached me who I got the sense were fishing for lulz--not because they were dressed "normy" (plenty of people do that) but because they were recording everything with video stuff, which even in Boston, most queers know better than to do.
I'm not sure exactly WHAT they were fishing for, but it was clearly SOMETHING, because they asked me questions that smelled like bait. One of them picked up Coming In or Staying Out, which is the very obvious porno. As they flipped through, they asked me, "Can I jerk it to this?"
I replied as salaciously as possible, "I don't know, buddy... CAN YOU?"
They laughed awkwardly. Then one said, "Do you have anything with a Jewish guy and an Indian guy?"
I went, "Indian as in Native American, or Indian as in India?"
India.
"Well, I've got one with a Jewish trans woman and an Indian guy, it's a kinky romance novel about interdimensional immigration and 9/11..."
They clearly didn't expect this answer, leafed through Found Wanting, asked how much money I'd made off it ("Enh, it came out in the pandemic and isn't a huge seller... $200 maybe?") but left without buying anything, and they caused me no distress. It's like, my good bitches, I've been selling this shit for YEARS. I been put on an antifa watchlist for coming to a protest with a sign covered in rainbow dongs! I've pissed off two cults! You have to work harder than that!
Apparently they turned up at another pride event too; my friend apparently encountered them the day later, pulling the same stuff. No clue what their deal was.
