Monkeypox Vaccine, Shot #1!

We got our first monkeypox vaccine shot last night thanks to Health Innovations, Fascination Boston, and the local Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. It was quick, easy, free, and we got a Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence sticker. :B It's on our sketchbook now. It was one of the best vaccination experiences we've ever had, and whoever had the bright idea for these groups to join forces deserves a medal.

If you can, please get vaccinated! Help protect your friends and fellows!

Neither did we until we were given one! :D

Is that something we're all supposed to be doing now? Last I heard it was limited to high-risk people because there wasn't much vaccine.

It probably depends on your location. Search "[your area] + monkeypox."

It's always good to check again every once in a while!

If so, they didn't mention it while I was there, and part of the sign-up required asking if I was a high-risk group. (We are not, and we said so.) I know it was limited in the past, but both us and our roommate got it, and I don't know that he's a high-risk group either. So maybe it's opened up since?
