Mori: we swapped multi books with Alexandrite, so now we have a copy of 1993's Mending Ourselves, made by 50ish contributors to the Many Voices multi newsletter. Y'all know we can't resist them time capsules.
First article is the pros and cons of integration, only the pros are all like, "everything will work so much better and life will be great," and the cons are like, "you'll feel all your feelings all the time and not have the excuse of bad memory anymore."
It's like ah yes, I can see why Alexandrites were happy to trade this.
On the plus side, maybe there will be actual decent information on this integration/fusion business and how to make it happen, outside of "magic life-fixing wand powers activate"? Maybe? Whatever, it'll be a nice easy trip in the multi time machine, get a nice cross-section of a specific community of the time, right before the switch to the DSM-IV and the DID name. Maybe they'll even cough up some juicy citations on slang usage and headmate demographics, ooh la la!
Recovering pretty well. Mostly resting.
Also, please enjoy this splendid painted wooden bat.

(This piece looks to be all one solid piece of wood, though. Others have detachable wings, legs, porcupine quills, etc.)
It is very pretty!
