Rogan: It is a source of great satisfaction to me that two of my titles have ended up on Goodreads and they're Alter Boys In Love and Multi, Orgasmic.
Yes! YES! Remember me for my happy cuddles'n'dicks work, Internet! Remember me for that! Help me laugh in the face of the idea that the only meaningful creative work that a multi can make is about suffering! Ahahahaha!
(Seriously, I get such pleasure that Multi, Orgasmic has only been out for six months and has already become my of-all-time #2 ebook seller, far and away outstripping all the rest except for All in the Family, which has been out for years, got a huge hit boost because it was the main feature of that Vulture article about me a few years back and also had a Kickstarter behind it. My #3 ebook bestseller has a third the sales that Multi, Orgasmic does, and AllFam is only ~20 copies ahead, despite its long lead time.)
(Then again, Multi, Orgasmic sells like garbage on paper. Certain books, I've learned, just sell way better in paper or as ebooks specifically. I have not yet figured out the criteria of what makes or breaks each category.)

Date: 2022-08-26 02:22 am (UTC)Kind of a shame, since I formatted Multi Orgasmic to be sorta workbook style, and not in a way well-suited to ebookery. I really did intend for it to be on paper so the reader could fill it out as they worked! Oh well.

Do you have any way of getting demographic information from the book sales? It'd be super interesting to know who those books are reaching.

Date: 2022-08-26 03:49 am (UTC)That said, the coolest info is sometimes I get orders from faraway countries! Chile, or the Philipines, stuff like that! That always excites me when I see something like that. I always wonder how they heard about me, in that circumstance. Or if I get a bunch of orders for the same thing all at one time, I have to assume that someone is talking about me, but I never really get to know where! (For all I know, it's in a private group chat or something.)
