Yeah, gender isn't really a thing in Treehouse. The big native species
that formed the closest thing to some of the core believes were
OVERWHELMINGLY female of various types, with only a very small percentage
of male drones. So the idea of segregating by gender just never made it
into common practice, any more than it'd occur to us to separate
left-handed and right-handed bathers.
There aren't even gendered pronouns in Pidgin Sign. Even finding OUT
someone's gender requires a fair amount of questioning which is a little
awkward, if not downright rude.
