I decided to post it since it seemed of plural interest; I'm not sure if Richard Schwartz introduced "system" as a standalone plural term, but he's probably responsible for the use of "parts" in plural vocabulary. Apparently this paper was the start of what later became the Internal Family Systems model of therapy.
