Think of it maybe as reaching out to others like you, and making for an easy conversation starter! (“Cool pin! Where’d you get it?”) It’s way easier to approach a fellow trans person with a compliment for their accessories than being like HELLO I AM TRANS ARE YOU A FELLOW TRANS?
