That and apparently no contract for the past year! Shameful. (Helpful protesting youths at city hall informed me, so they seem pretty mad too.)
Though it seems obvious that the library defenders summoned would mostly be the people who can drop everything and come running comparatively easily: the retired, unemployed, underemployed, people not in school or a 9-5... you know, bums.
