Yeah, piss-fighting is so universal, and I also was like "wow, do I really dread the idea of postmortem-ing a million plural piss-fights of yore for voyeuristic entertainment." After a certain point, if you've seen one, you've seen them all.
Also, Dorothy Allison's writing about the lesbian sex wars helped clear my head of so many other things that seem unrelated, clearly a lot is generalizable!
EDIT: also, I'm not sure I've met ANY singlet mental health worker who even KNEW about most of these piss-fights, never mind was influenced by them. The Memory Wars are a glaring exception, but they were overwhelmingly staged by singlet lawyers and medical personnel; multis were playing defense in that fight, and I'd argue we mostly lost, for a while anyway.
