Power is out; Patreon delayed

The power is out in our room and will be for an unknown amount of time. Since our work machine is an immovable desktop, we will likely be unable to do our usual Patreon stuff tomorrow.

We were also hoping to roll out a bunch of new stuff on Dreamwidth, but between getting COVID and now this, it might have to get pushed back. Thanks for your patience.

EDIT: the electrician called. What was going to be "this morning" turned into "this afternoon" turned into "cannot come today." I am using a 100 foot extension cord across the apartment at the moment, frantically shoveling out work tasks before I have to unplug.

Also our heat isn't turning on. I am writing this wearing a hoodie, a bomber jacket, hat, and gloves.

No kidding, Rose! A hailstorm and truck breakdown has delayed the electrician. Thank god I replaced my 2005 laptop's battery a while back...

It's an old house that was wired by goblins... and it turns out my room, a roomy's room on the opposite end of the flat, a bathroom, and one outlet in the kitchen are all connected.

Roomy was running a space heater and I tried to make tea. -_- Darkness descended on those three rooms (and the one kitchen outlet).

The electrician canceled. He isn't coming today. No power until... eventually, I guess. (They said he'll come tomorrow, but that's what they said yesterday.)

That's so frustrating! I really hope the electrician actually comes tomorrow. :( Not a good time of year to lose power, especially with that affecting the heat!
