Sneak: yeah, I don't know that it would've worked, but such a coalition wasn't a terrible idea! Keep resources, an index of information and experiences... had their goals been humbler (and their website and management structure been simpler), I could've seen it as being a nice little thing!
Instead, you had to email your legal name and zip code to a sketchy email address called baseballfans or something, and also tell your age, all so you could volunteer at this tiny online organization that shouldn't have needed any of that. (We knew a dorm that had its own zip code; giving that kind of information is too much!)
