Despite my being singlet, your hell-bent description sounds a *lot* like what happens every time I try to meditate-- floods of emotions until I can think of is "make it go away". But your description of it here is a lot more relevant sounding than most of the descriptions of intense emotional reactions in your average meditation guide.
