I mean, yes. If you see your plurality from a strictly physical/wetware perspective (which we generally do), then no, it doesn't make sense.
However, the thing is, a lot of plurals don't. They see their plurality not as a psychological/neurological/physical experience, but a different one (metaphysical or spiritual for instance) that takes place completely irrelevant or independent to their physical body or mind. It is an external event taking place "out there" somewhere.
Folks can and have argued until the cows come home over this, but in the framework of our post, it's irrelevant. We wanted to make a post that would be helpful regardless of what philosophical position a plural inhabited, and to avoid a discussion on it.
