it does not seem like they realized it was a dickish move, but I'm glad they were persuaded by our ground rules, otherwise it would have become quite dickish for sure.
I can't help but to feel a little disrespected by it though. What happened to me was very serious, took place over many years, and you can't deal with that just by hitting him with a frying pan! I don't think they understood the scope of it and how serious it is.
Hikaru understands this. Once he punched my abuser in the face after being provoked. Hikaru understood this was a mistake because it undoubtedly angered my abuser, and he could have retaliated against me. Fortunately nothing happened besides that Hikaru was suspended from the kiin, but I could have been at risk. Actions have consequences.
