Those are good ground rules to have! And I mean, I think your feelings of a boundary being violated are in the right. From what you're describing, it sounds like someone took your abuse history, and made it about THEM. That's a pretty dick move to do, whatever their intentions. And you can't just RETCON abuse like that! It sounds like instead of meeting you where you were, they instead chose to indulge in a childish revenge fantasy that couldn't actually help you, to make themselves feel better. Which again, not cool.
