It is absolutely wild to me. Since we became selves-aware in 2011, I feel like we just skirted under a when the discourse got nasty to discover ourselves, and I'm really grateful it wasn't any later. It's also exhausting to see people absolutely steamroll over plural history ('endogenics and traumagenics were always separate but somehow also they only started showing up in 2013' sure, jan) when it will serve their point, but that's sort of what the discourse, broadly, has become.
