Well, that's depressing. I guess with the younger plurals, they missed the Memory Wars so they don't realize that this is a repeat of something from the '80s.
For folks interested in learning more, I recommend Magaret Thaler Singer's book "Crazy Therapy." Margaret Singer was a cult authority who died in the '90s, and even THEN she managed to write a book about therapy used coercively, including age regression in hypnosis and the shitty fads in multi therapy at that time. It is well worth looking up, and libraries are decently likely to have it.
