Yeah, I characterize THAT nasty mean-spirited voice as Edward Cullen;
Cheri Huber calls it self-hate or the illusion of separateness. It is a
sad, scared thing, and while it can be worthwhile to listen to it, it
should never be believed or given power over anyone's life. Huber argues
that it serves the purpose of keeping us separate, but then, she's a
Buddhist. For me, I see it as a misguided protector that is retired.
