So I know I said this already, but dude, I've only been around since 2014 and even I know that's not how to be a magnificent bastard supervillain! I'm still trying to parse the fact that Panopticon think a convicted child rapist is not only more sympathetic than you but your poor hapless "victim," and that anyone who had all the facts of the situation would clearly agree with them. Like, would they line up to be branded and forced to fuck their siblings? Is that like the Republicans who line up to vote for people who want to take their health care and jobs away just to own the libs?

And, like, we lost count of the number of times we were told in ye bad olde days that we were brainwashed and hurting survivors (as if we weren't also one) just by talking about non-DID multiples, or that we're just part of the Evil Iatrogenic Cult Of MPD True Believers. But at least with that, we realized eventually that instead of coming out swinging at every accusation, we should try to let our lives speak for themselves, to show through the way we conduct ourselves that we live the ideals we say we have. (I mean, okay, Pavilion didn't help with that, but we have a chance to make a clean break with all that now.) Same with being nonbinary (as a group), otherworlds, some of us being nonhuman, etc. If it's not a cult and nobody is being harmed here, that fact should speak for itself and not need the defense of LITERAL CONVICTED CRIMINALS.
