Yeah. In our case, I think our isolation had some benefits; it meant that we were able to spend a few years growing into ourself without as much fear that it was the influence of others. That ended up helping Miranda bust my claims that we were just faking it all.

It also didn't help that a number of our first relationships with other plurals were pretty awful. At least then, we were adults, but had those things happened when we were children, I think they would've been more damaging.
