Part of it might be just a thing that requires practice, or it might just be that headspace isn't the thing for you! Are there certain qualities that make it fog out faster or less fast? Does simplifying or shrinking what you're maintaining make any difference? See if you can figure out what aspect/s of the project aren't working for you--or if it's all of them.
