Yeah! My work is neither respectable nor well-paying, but it serves others and does my part to build a better world. That is so important for keeping me part of society!

There’s a difference between work that satisfies you because it serves the world and work that gives the external rewards of money and status but doesn’t feel like it does anything useful.
