Now for the fun SPX post: BOOOOOOOOKS!
We spent a lot of money, but have zero guilt or shame because we planned and approved all our purchases before even boarding the plane. They were all things we would've bought anyway, we just missed the damn Kickstarters and didn't pay shipping.

- Robber Robert: a sci-fi porn comic about an ex-miner who tries to rob an alien sex shop, only to have the whole thing backfire on him hilariously (and naughtily). This comic makes me laugh out loud even though I've read it multiple times. Mad Rupert is a master of using paneling and page-turns to convey perfect comic timing. I seriously want to write an essay about how Robber Robert uses those invisible comics arts for this effect.
- Barbarous: an urban fantasy about an overambitious wizard school drop-out who works as a building superintendent with a black market familiar who feels compelled to obey and please the humans around him, even when he really doesn't want to. Gorgeously illustrated, and Chapter 5 has a whole headspace psyche-spelunking adventure which is exactly the stuff we love. Also, Miranda is a massive shipper for the main characters.

- Montana Diary, by our colleague Whit Taylor. Whit travels to Glacier National Park, reflecting on climate change, Lewis and Clark, and white supremacy as it influences her travel plans. (Traded, will be put in a free box for someone else to enjoy)
