This was (and is still) a favorite subject. Lit Analysis in highschool and college was some gourmet shit. *chef's kiss*

It's valuable to hear about from the perspective of someone who's actually creating art. On the receiving end, there's so much to pick apart. When it's done smoothly, some things only pop out in retrospect - and usually, that's intended. (IMO) the really good books are the ones that tell different sides of a story in the first read and in subsequent ones. But readers don't get to see the questions, doubts, and considerations that go into making those design choices.

There isn't a lot of familiarity with your comics on this side, but from what people have seen, you balance it well. It does stand out when you choose to use one of your headmates' particular styles - it shows something beyond just what someone looks like or says. It shows a piece of who they are, their emotions, their way of interacting with the world, even what they think of themself.

I can't think of many literary examples that use personal stylistic changes like that - no less from a unique personal perspective, rather than an outside one. It's potent stuff.
